Not long now....
....so its less than 4 weeks away-blimey!! The training is going well as the fundraising. Thanks so much to all that have kindly donated :)
My knee however is playing up :(
Im sorting out a physio at the mo and hope to be running again asap. I had proper treadmill envy at the gymn last night. Cross trainer o clock ggrrr....
There is such a freedom that running gives you and such an amazing internal correction. You see the world as your stomping ground and its gives you the attitude that "anything is possible". The feeling after a run is just awesome and I once read from a seasoned runner that after a run if you are stuck in traffic you dont care...I agree.
So the flights are booked and the hotel (Hilton-HELLO) and Niki (cpl wiggle) and I have both had out Yellow fever jabs (grim) and are all sorted for everything else. Thankfully malaria does not exist at that altitude so neither of us should be doing a Cheryl Cole on you!!! ;)
Well thats all for now, back to work on a rainy Tuesday in Devon.
Keep your eyes peeled for updates.
I dont know what internet access we will have "over there" so bear with us.
For reference, the run is at 8.30 (I think) on Sun 21st Nov 2010 and Ethoipia is GMT plus 3
